Description
The Oct. 2 Safety Series class will focus on the Silica Standard and include the following objectives:
- How to identify silica hazards in workplace
- Become familiar with health hazards associated with silica exposure
- Recognize how to protect employees and limit exposure
- Understand the new regulation including how to interpret Table 1, when air sampling is necessary, as well as medical monitoring and written program requirements
