Description
The Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire (HBASE) is working with the City of Sioux Falls to address issues with improper installation of siding. The City currently requires that siding must be installed and inspected during the same time as framing inspections and before insulation or sheetrock can be installed.
The requirement results in increased costs and creates scheduling difficulties for local contractors.
To help local businesses catch up on proper siding installation techniques, we invite you to join us for a short, hands-on informational course. If we can work together to show improvement in this area, the City may be willing to revisit this requirement.
